Our church was involved in the parade and community tree lighting ceremony. Our very own "Bucky and The Gang" greeted everyone in the parade from their hay filled trailer. Pastor Liz, Crystal & Jason Huggins escorted the Hackleburg School Beginner Band on the Hodges Fire Truck. The Beginner Band played Jingle Bells from atop the truck as they travelled through town in the parade. And finally, Pastor Clint moderated the Tree Lighting ceremony and read over 200 names for the Memorial Balloon release. Other members of our congregation assisted in the preparation of the refreshments at Recreation Center. Also, Lynn Raper, Jamie Hamby and Tina Raper presented beautiful Christmas solos in the program prior to the Tree Lighting ceremony.
