And Jesus said unto them, "Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, `Remove hence to yonder place,' and it shall remove. And nothing shall be impossible unto you. However this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting."
Matthew 17:20-21
As we come into the home stretch of our corporate season of fasting, let me post some encouraging words to guide us as we keep our focus on the why and what of our fast. The scripture is plain throughout the Old and New testament that many fasted to hear God and draw closer to Him. Jesus tells us in Matthew that we must have the annointing to see the impossible accomplished , we must deny our flesh and and feast in His Word. The Annointing of Christ breaks every yoke of bondage. As we continue to join together in this solemn assembly, continue to cry out for the annointing, delieverence and restoration.
