Morgan and Pastor Clint after Baccalaurete ServiceThe Hackleburg High Class of 2008 ceremony was excellent. I don't believe I have ever been in such a heart felt graduation ceremony. I know we live in a small town but, the intimacy of this graduation celebration was beyond any I have ever seen or been apart of. I am pleased to post that our own Morgan Stidham received a surprise scholarship. Morgan is the first to receive the Peoples Trust Bank Scholarship. His excellent character and community service were just some of the reasons he was selected to receive this honored award. The Hackleburg Bank President, Charles Babbs awarded Morgan his scholarship at the graduation ceremony! Congratulations Morgan, we are proud of you!
Also, Morgan and three of his fellow classmates and fellow Volunteer Firemen were awarded a special citizenship award by two of their teachers. Commending them on their service to their school as well as their community.
