Aiden is 10 months old. When he was 4 months old, the growth of his organs slowed down. His parents [which are not Christians] ask that for no visitors because when Aiden got upset, he would cry and turn blue because of difficulty breathing. It was actually miraculous that Sister Nancy and her friend got to go pray for him [them] yesterday. They walked in the hospital room, gave him a food basket and an offering and asked if they could pray for Aiden. They didn’t get to talk to the mother who was out taking care of some paperwork, but they held his little feet and hand and begin to pray. He immediately opened his eyes, looked at them and such peace filled the room. They prayed for 20-30 minutes. Sister Nancy left a card in the crib with a letter to the baby. It was something like this… I know you can’t read, but maybe your mom or dad will read this for you. My name is Nancy and once I was very sick, too. But some people prayed for me and God healed me. He loves little children and their moms and dads. I know He can heal you, too.”
When they finished praying, they asked the dad if he wanted them to pray for him. He said, “Naw, I’m okay…the baby needs it more than I do.” So, they said okay, we won’t pray here, but we have been and will keep praying for all of you. He thanked them sincerely and now the rest is in God’s hands. I will keep you posted.
