Dear Prayer Warriors,
CNN reported 2 bomb blasts in Hyderabad, the capital of Andhra Pradesh, where over 11,000 of our church members and pastors live. Our news is reporting 24 people dead. I have received a phone call from India and the news there is reporting 3 blasts with more expected, and 100's dead. One of the blasts occurred in a very congested and popular shopping area in Hyderabad that I have visited several times. Preliminary reports are that the persons responsible are the Pakistani terrorists. Our brothers are asking for prayer!
There are many believers in Hyderabad, and at least one group that is connected with the Church of God of Prophecy. Please, please earnestly pray for those who are survivors (they are reporting hundreds moved to hospitals), and that Our Father will use this to draw people to the true and living God. Pray that believers will be able to respond to the hurting with the mercy and love of God. Pray that the government of Andhra Pradesh will respond in wisdom to the acts of violence, for the benefit of the people.
