Another Busy Sunday

Wow, what a blessed, busy Sunday! Our attendance for this morning was 101 even with our youth on their trip to the Smokey Mountains and several still sick.

As the worship team gathered at 9:00 to pray and rehearse, God was in the house! After a very encouraging lesson, we lifted praise to our God, then were fed by the Word as Brother Brian ministered and souls filled the altar. Tina Stults gave an awesome testimony of God's deliverance in her life.

Immediately following service our cake auction raised more than $1200.00 for our helping hands ministry.

Many of our ladies then attended the bridal shower for Emily Stidham and Jared Parker. This was so nice!

Finally, we returned for our evening service where we enjoyed our usual 5th Sunday singing. God has blessed our church with so much talent and it is wonderful to see our young people having a desire to use their talents for the Lord. We were especially blessed to hear Ms. Evelyn McLemore accompany her daughter, Crystal and share from her heart.

After a short break we had a brief business meeting to give the building committee permission to act on behave of the church in choosing a contractor, obtaining a floorplan to present to the congregation, obtaining funding and releasing funds as necessary to complete our new church.
It is so awesome what God is doing for us!
