- The Hackleburg Ministerial Association members met this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at our church. Myself, James Nichols (Mt. Olive), Gene Thomas (Emmanuel), Bobby Aderholt (Fairview), Steve Lawrence (First Baptist) and Mike Frederick (Union Hill) were all in attendance. We discussed and made plans for the upcoming Easter Sunrise service. The Sunrise service will be held at 7:00 a.m. here at our church (COGOP) on Easter Sunday morning. Our worship team will lead the worship. Brother Bobby Aderholt was chosen to bring the message. This is an honor to host this service and have our worship team led the worship/music.
- We also planned and discussed the annual Baccalaureate service for HHS. The service will be held on May 20th at 3:00 p.m. at The Hackleburg First Baptist church. I have been selected to bring the message for the Baccalaureate service (what an honor). As always, the Ministerial Association will present bibles to the graduating seniors.
- Our last act of business for the day was to plan the Ministerial Association observance of the National Day of Prayer at the Hackleburg Town Hall on May 3, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. We will make posters and post them at our churches and around town.
- I am so thankful for all of these Pastors and dear friends. It is always a joy to sit together and laugh and fellowship with each of them. I am blessed to call them friends.
