A Saturday echogram showed that only 30% of Sister Jean's heart was functioning, requiring an emergency angiophasty. Saints from all over the state were called to pray. Before the surgery everyone present gathered around her bed for prayer. Holy Spirit spoke to her saying that she was not in the hands of man, but in the hands of God. Little did we know that a miracle was underway! God impressed someone to whisper in her ear that the blocked artery would be open when the surgery began.
Sister Jean asked the surgeon if he was a believer. He told her that he was not. She said, "Well, I am and God will be doing my surgery through your hands." She placed her bible under her blanket and told Pastor Clint, "I'm not going in there without my sword."
Moments into the surgery the surgical nurse called saying that he was finishing up and no stint was required. This seemed strange. As she came out of surgery, the doctor explained that the artery had opened up "on it's own". Sister Jean had even refused anestsia. "She's tough," the doctor said. Brother Robert looked at the surgeon and asked, "You know who did this don't you?" All the doctor could say was "yes".
GLORY & PRAISE TO THE FATHER FOR THIS MIRACLE!
